Optional Extras

This add-on can help if you have a medical emergency while taking part in winter sports activities. It can also help reclaim expenses when you lose or damage your own ski equipment as well as cover the costs of unused ski passes, piste closures and avalanches. It’s available for those aged 70 and under and is already included as standard when you choose a Comprehensive Annual policy for up to 21 days cover.
If you need to make a claim, having an Excess Waiver means you won’t have to pay any excess from your own pocket for each item you’re claiming for. This can’t be added retrospectively.
This option increases your single item, Personal Baggage cover beyond the standard €450, up to €1,000. To do this you’ll need to describe the item you’re covering and Single Item cover can’t be added retrospectively.
If you’re 70 and under, you can extend your 50 day trip duration limit to 100 days for one trip.
